Hey! It's just me!

This beautiful spring has been very busy for our farm! We've welcomed new animals to the farm recently, including a new fold of Scottish Highland cattle. They are very interesting looking, and will produce wonderful grass-fed beef.

Delle had a Jersey heifer calf last week 
and we are so thankful for another  dairy calf to add to our herd

We will have fresh milk again soon

Happy 13th birthday, Rachael!!

Early on Resurrection Sunday 13 years ago, you were joyfully welcomed to our home. You bless us by your heart for the Lord and we rejoice to see you joyfully serving Him. Have a blessed 13th year! We love you!

Sarah gave Rachael a surprise compilation of recipes from Rachael's friends, to add to her hopechest. Rachael likes to cook and she is looking forward to enjoying these tried-and-true  recipes. Thank you all for sharing your delicious tips and recipes, and making her birthday so special.

Vacation 2012: A Day with the Bullingtons

On our trip home, we were excited to be able to meet up with the Bullington family, who we have known for over six years. They are a sweet family and we always have a lot to talk about together.

Sarah and Maggie have been pen-pals for many years and it was a special
treat for them to thank the Lord for  the friendship He has given them.
 Maggie brought along Sarah's first hand-written letter - how special!

Vacation 2012: Dropping in the Petricks

Our friends, the Petricks, recently moved away from Kansas - but our route home from Georgia took us right by their new home! We enjoyed stopping by briefly to say hello.
