We have had many storms in our area lately, and so thankful for God's protection (Psalm 57:1). The power of His creation is awing and reminds us of His incredible power and mercy toward us!
"By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters,
or a way for the lightning of thunder;
To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is;
on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
Hast thou an arm like God?
or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?"
(from Job 38 and 40)
These pictures are lovely and the Scriptures are beautiful! I find it a blessing to know that God is completely in control of all things and nothing happens apart from His will.
