Farming at a Golden Sunset

Nathan spreading lime on the fields,
in preperation for planting his first crop of alfalfa this spring
The dust trail behind the tractor looks like fire as the sun set behind him

and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God."

  1. Hello Kansas Bryants!
I really love the third photo!! That or the last one would be great to send into one of the Reiman's farm/country magazines --- could win a prize?

Our farm in Ark. City KS had the most beautiful sunsets... I asked a teacher once about it and he said that the colors are created by the light fracturing through all the dust and other "junk" in the atmosphere... and we know how much dirt is on a KS farmer's horizon! I thought it was so interesting an example of something wonderful as a result of crud in the air. Perhaps you can put together an allegorical parable or something from this environmental fact--- 8-D
